Terms of Use

• dropintab is free to use and needs no account.
• You are responsible for the files and notes you send and for the files you choose to accept. Only open files from people you trust.
• Room codes and invite links let people join your room, so share them only with people you mean to.

• send anything illegal, or anything you don't have the right to share;
• send malware, or use dropintab to harass, deceive or spy on anyone;
• try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or to reach rooms or devices that aren't yours.

I may block access from devices or networks that do this.

Your files stay yours. They go directly between devices and never through my server, so I can't see, keep or recover them. How the little data dropintab does handle is used is explained in the Privacy Policy.

dropintab is provided as it is, without any warranty. I work to keep it reliable, but transfers can fail, networks can block connections, and the service can be down, change or stop at any time. Keep your own copies of anything important.

As far as the law allows, I am not liable for lost or damaged files, lost time, or any indirect damage from using dropintab. If I am ever found liable, my total liability is limited to what you paid me through support payments in the 12 months before the claim.

• Support payments are voluntary payments to me, the developer, to help keep dropintab running. They are not a purchase: you don't receive goods, services or extra features in return, and using dropintab never requires one.
• They are not a charitable donation and are not tax-deductible.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay in Indian rupees (INR) or US dollars (USD). Razorpay's terms apply to the payment itself, and your bank may add its own charges, for example for currency conversion.
• Each payment is one-time; there are no subscriptions. Refunds are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
• If you choose, your name and the amount appear on the supporter wall. I may remove entries that are offensive or that impersonate someone.

I may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and using dropintab after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India.
